Reflections

Last day of the semester. I'm done with finals.
My bags are packed.
Tickets, visa, passport...check, check, check.
It's so bittersweet. I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow and going back home.
What is home?
Where my parents live? Where I go to school? Where I've spent the last four months?
(Four months, wow.)

I feel like time doesn't even exist anymore.
It's fast, then slow, then too fast...and BAM! It's over.
As if nothing had ever happened.
Like that non-existent hour during daylight savings when it turns to 1AM after just being 11:59.

Except that it did happen.

Yeah,
I lived in France for a semester with two artists
gallivanting all around Europe on the weekends
speaking French
being French (drinking wine all day?)
enjoying life with the best of people...
no big deal.

And it was amazing.

Here's to...
Our first night out in Paris
Climbing the Bastille
Seeing the Alps everyday
Crazy birthdays at Bukana
And everything else in between.
Thanks, Grenoble. It's been real.

Bobby Blues Is Back

Let's take a moment to appreciate
the melodic harmony between guitar, harmonica, and vocals
that is the musical talents of
Bob Dylan.
